Boxing for Parkinson’s Patients


The second session of NeuroMotrix’s boxing courses for Parkinson’s patients is open for registration, and there will be two free classes offered for you to try it out, on March 7th and March 14th!

NeuroMotrix develops fitness programs for people with neurodegenerative disorders, and this boxing course is made specifically with Parkinson’s in mind. It can help you with your coordination, balance, endurance, and strength.

The course is also open to people with other health issues, as well as anyone else who wants to join!

You’ll get to use boxing gloves, punching bags, and other equipment, all under the supervision of a NeuroMotrix Kinesiologist and a certified boxing instructor from the Ludus Athletic Centre.

Location: Ludus Athletic Centre (Centre sportif Ludus), 6002 Boulevard des Grandes-Prairies, Montreal, H1P1A2.

Schedule for the March 7th to May 23rd session:

Tuesdays, 2:00pm-3:00pm: Level I

Tuesdays, 3:00pm-4:00pm: Level II

FEBRUARY 16: Quebec Parkinson Network General Assembly


Next week is the Quebec Parkinson Network’s General Assembly, and here’s all the information you need to attend.
