Background: Diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease and other causes of Parkinsonism is not always an easy task for physicians. Recently, the International Parkinson and Movement Disorders Society created diagnostic criteria to improve the reliability of diagnosis.  However, in doing so, it is important to test how the criteria work, and how reliable they are in identifying people with Parkinson’s disease or alternate causes of Parkinsonsim.

Purpose of the Study: The purpose of this study is to test the new MDS-PD diagnostic criteria, comparing the criteria to the best opinion of an expert in Parkinson’s diagnosis.
