Clinical Biological Imaging and Genetic Repository (C-BIGR) is an Open Science platform that collects biological samples, clinical information, imaging and genetic data from people with neurological disorders and healthy research participants.

This robust collection drives researchers to develop critical insights into the underlying biology of neurological disorders and facilitates the development of new and better treatments for patients and their families.

The data and samples collected in the C-BIG repository will be made available to research teams with scientifically and ethically sound proposals worldwide, by the principles of open science.

Data collected:

  • Blood samples
  • Neuropsychological questionnaires
  • Brain imaging (MRI, MEG)

C-BIGR will participate in various projects in all areas of neurological diseases. The long-term goal is to develop a comprehensive collection of data and samples on a diverse range of neurological conditions, thus contributing to advancing global translational neuroscience research.
