Primary Objective:
To investigate the genetic origins of neuropsychiatric symptoms in Parkinson’s disease.
Secondary Objectives:
- Characterize targeted genes with single nucleotide variations or polymorphisms that have been associated with neuropsychiatric or cognitive deficits in Parkinson’s disease.
- To explore the association of the targeted genes with MBI-C total score and subscores.
- To conduct a genome-wide exploratory association study between the 51 genes that were fully sequenced using reverse molecular probes and MBI-C total score and subscores.
