A word from the directors

With great pleasure and deep commitment, I have accepted the co-direction of the Quebec Parkinson Network. I am pleased to continue the work accomplished by our predecessor, Dr. Oury Monchi, and I am committed to the development of the network.

By facilitating partnerships between researchers and clinicians and promoting data sharing, Quebec Parkinson Network is part of a movement to modernize research. This modernization also involves the active participation of patients in the research process and their knowledge of the latest advances essential to understanding and treating the disease.

We are thus doing everything possible to contribute to the tremendous success: winning the fight against Parkinson’s disease.

As co-director of the Quebec Parkinson Network, it is with great pride that I have committed myself to doing everything possible to support researchers, clinicians and citizens interested in Parkinson’s disease.

By organizing concerted activities, structuring initiatives, dissemination activities, knowledge transfer, and developing joint research resources, we will succeed in doing more and better Parkinson’s disease research.

The network allows new advances on Parkinson’s disease each year by adhering to open science and sustainable development objectives. Together we can one day defeat Parkinson’s disease.
